Hi there ... I know there's still snow on the ground, but the Patriots are out of the running, so it's time to start thinking about baseball!
Baseball signups will be Wednesday and Thursday March 3rd and 4th from 6-8pm at FES. The fee this year is $35, and you must bring a copy of your childs birth certificate with you to signups. Click here for the form.
It would be helpful if you could return your form via email before signups, as the Minors and Majors will most likely be starting in the gym in February. Here is my email address: mcgrathlumber@hotmail.com.
The age groups are as follows (all ages are based on what age a child will be as of May 1st 2010):
- T-Ball (hit off tee) = 5-6 yrs
- Rookies (coaches pitch) = 7-8 yrs
- Minors (kids pitch) = 9-10 yrs
- Majors (kids pitch) = 11-12 yrs

PS
We are always looking for volunteers to help out with coaching, concessions, umpiring, etc. There are coaching clinics, umpiring clinics, etc, happening over the next month or two that are great tools if you are nervous to help out because of what you think you know or not know. These programs can't happen without the help of great parents like yourselves.
