MEETING NOTICE
AGENDA – April 3
The Francestown Planning Board will meet at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 on Pleasant Pond Rd., just beyond the Collins Brook Bridge (where the new pavement ends). The Board will proceed to conduct a SITE INSPECTION immediately prior to a Scenic Road Public Hearing. The Board will meet, view the proposed work, and then return to the Town Offices Meeting Room, 27 Main Street for the Public Hearing scheduled to begin at 7:00pm.
The following agenda items are listed in the order in which they will be considered:
PUBLIC HEARING - Scenic Road Application - Pleasant Pond Rd.
The Town of Francestown Highway Dept. is proposing to cut approximately 30 trees along Pleasant Pond Rd in order to continue paving of a remaining portion of same.. The site is located at the end of the current new pavement not far from the Collins Brook bridge and the trees in question have been marked with pink tape. A final application for Scenic Road Cutting is scheduled to be formally submitted to the Board at its meeting.
Interested parties are invited to attend, in person, or by agent, to show why this application should, or should not, be approved. If not resolved at this meeting, the matter may be continued to subsequent meetings without further published notice
PUBLIC HEARING – Site Development Application – Crotched Mountain Ski Area
Peak Resorts, SNH Development (dba Crotched Mountain Ski and Ride) is proposing to reclaim/expand ski trails, replace/reconfigure lift, and extend/improve snowmaking and lights. . The site is located at 615 Francestown Rd. (Rte 136) in the Rural Zoning District, Steep Slope Conservation Overlay District and Wetlands/Vernal Pool Conservation Overlay District and is identified as Tax Map 7/Lot 6A. A final application for site development is scheduled to be formally submitted to the Board at its meeting.
Interested parties are invited to attend, in person, or by agent, to show why this application should, or should not, be approved. If not resolved at this meeting, the matter may be continued to subsequent meetings without further published notice
