Annual Household Hazardous Waste Day 2008
Saturday, September 20th
9:00am until we have reached the budgeted limit of $5000. At that point no more waste will be collected regardless of the time.
Types of waste that will be collected are:
Alkyd (oil) based paints and varnishes
Flammable liquids and solvents
Aerosols
Chemical oxidizers, bases and acids
Liquid and solid pesticides
Dioxin-based pesticides
Asbestos
Mercury and Ni-Cad batteries can be turned into an attendant any time.
